The Friends ReSale Shop Summer Sale is Almost Here!
Join us for our annual Summer Sale at Barb City Manor, where incredible bargains meet a great cause!

Friday, July 18 | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
This isn’t your average sale—our Summer Sale takes over the whole first floor with treasures in every room filling the entire ground floor! You’ll find clothing, shoes, accessories, housewares, home décor, books, media, furniture, and more. Nothing is held back, and shelves are restocked throughout the event.
The Friends ReSale Shop is fully volunteer-run and stocked through generous community donations. Every dollar stays right here at Barb City Manor and supports our residents in meaningful ways—funding the Resident Assistance Fund, monthly birthday celebrations, newspapers, crafts, and activities.
Proceeds from this year’s Summer Sale will go toward updating our Friends Community Room, a cherished gathering space last remodeled in 1994. This room is regularly used by residents for meals with guests, social events, and family gatherings.
Donations are still being accepted!
Please drop off items by Sunday, July 13 at the Barb City Manor main office, 680 Haish Blvd, DeKalb. For large donations, call ahead to arrange a drop-off at our sorting area. We gladly accept furniture donations but prefer to preview them first—email photos to sdavis@barbcitymanor.org.
