The DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) is pleased to announce its upcoming Economic Outlook Luncheon, taking place on Wednesday, March 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Faranda’s in DeKalb.
The luncheon will feature Dr. Kristen Broady, Senior Economist, Economic Advisor, and Director of the Economic Mobility Project at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, as the keynote speaker. DCEDC is excited to welcome Dr. Broady back to DeKalb County and looks forward to the insights and expertise she will share with the local business and community leadership.
Economic outlook presentations provide valuable data and analysis from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, which serves the Seventh Federal Reserve District — a diverse region at the heart of the Midwest. During her presentation, Dr. Broady is expected to address key regional and national economic trends, including employment changes, industry growth and decline, manufacturing and agricultural trends, the impacts of automation and artificial intelligence, and the influence of regional and federal government policies on the broader economic landscape.
