The DeKalb County Community Mental Health Board is pleased to announce two new
grant programs offering a combined total of approximately
Opioid Remediation Settlement Fund Grant Program — ~$325,000
Available Funded through county opioid litigation settlement funds, this program supports local providers delivering treatment, prevention, and recovery services for DeKalb County residents affected by Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and co-occurring conditions. Eligible applicants must focus on opioid remediation strategies outlined in the Illinois Allocation Agreement. Grant amounts up to $50,000 will be prioritized.
CEBiB Funding Program — Up to $60,000 Available
This program provides low-barrier, capacity-building grants for lived-experience-led and grassroots organizations serving DeKalb County residents. Three grants of up to $20,000 each will be awarded for 12-month periods, prioritizing small, community-based organizations with trusted relationships and innovative approaches to addressing gaps in mental health, wellness, and substance
use disorder services.
