Elevate, the young professionals initiative of the DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation, is bringing together emerging leaders from across the region for an evening of networking, community building, and professional growth at Roberts Family Farm in Sandwich.
The Elevate summer networking event will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 pm on June 29 at Roberts Family Farm, 905 S. County Line Road, Sandwich. The event is designed to provide young professionals with opportunities to build meaningful connections, expand their professional networks, and engage with peers from across DeKalb County in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Attendees will enjoy complimentary appetizers, local beverages, and access to one of the area’s unique agricultural destinations while connecting with fellow professionals who are passionate about strengthening the region’s workforce and community. Elevate is dedicated to building community among young professionals, generally 18-45 years old, across DeKalb County by creating opportunities for networking, leadership development, and community engagement.
“These opportunities are essential to fostering a vibrant and thriving community,” said Jessi Haish LaRue, DCEDC Marketing and Events Specialist. “This event offers a casual setting where individuals can build relationships, share ideas, and discover new opportunities throughout DeKalb County.”
Guests will also experience the many attractions of Roberts Family Farm, including their farm store, self-serve tap system with local beverages, and the opportunity to see farm animals and explore the site. There will also be networking games in a low-pressure environment.
The event is free to attend; however, advance registration is required by June 26. Appetizers will be provided, and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
