Family Service Agency (FSA) is proud to announce the launch of the 2025 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Scholarship, offering up to $2,500 in financial assistance to eligible students pursuing higher education or vocational training in Illinois.
The application deadline is June 13, 2025.
The CSBG Scholarship is designed to support students facing financial barriers as they work toward degrees and certifications that will help them secure stable, well-paying careers. While the scholarship prioritizes access for migrants, minorities, and other marginalized communities, all students who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or trade certification in Illinois
Must reside in DeKalb County
Must meet income guidelines
Unlike many financial aid programs, the CSBG Scholarship is committed to inclusivity and accessibility. Applicants are not required to provide proof of U.S. citizenship, and FSA does not collect or report information regarding citizenship status, gender identity, or other protected identifications.
