Join Us as a Partner for Fun Jam in the Park!

Fun Jam in the Park is back, bringing joy, play, and community connection to DeKalb! This exciting summer event series provides a fantastic opportunity for local organizations, businesses, and community groups to engage with youth and families in a meaningful way. We invite you to become a partner by leading engaging activities for children and teens at one or more Fun Jam events!

Why Partner with Fun Jam? As a partner, you will:

Showcase your organization’s commitment to youth and community enrichment.

Interact with local families in a fun, welcoming environment.

Lead engaging activities that inspire creativity, learning, and teamwork.

Gain visibility and strengthen relationships with other community organizations.

How You Can Get Involved Partners have the opportunity to take responsibility for activities on one or more Fun Jam dates. Based on prior years, we encourage partners to consider activities suited for elementary and early middle school ages in the following categories:

Table Games – Board games, card games, puzzles, and interactive group games.

STEAM Activities – Science experiments, technology projects, engineering challenges, arts and crafts, and math-based fun.

Sports Games – Soccer, basketball, relay races, or other active outdoor games.

Other – Unique activities that don’t fit in the categories above but bring excitement to the event!

Activities for Older Kids – Engaging and interactive activities designed for late middle school through high school students.

Logistics & Support All Tuesday Fun Jam events will be held at Welsh Park, with additional Thursday events at Lions Park and Liberty Park. Dates are:

Tuesday. July 15 (Welsh Park)
Tuesday, July 22 (Welsh Park)
If your organization would like to participate but needs financial assistance for activity-related expenses, please let us know.

Support Fun Jam with a Donation! In addition to activity partners, we are also seeking financial support to help cover the cost of food and live music for the events. If your organization is interested in contributing, your support will help make Fun Jam in the Park an even greater success for our community!
