DeKalb-area businesses are invited to join the celebration of NIU’s 119th Homecoming, October 5–11, by becoming a Huskie Host. Participating businesses will offer a special promotion throughout Homecoming week, giving students, staff, alumni and fans more ways to celebrate and support local businesses.
Huskie Host promotions will be featured through the NIU Homecoming website, social media and other promotional efforts, as well as at the 5th Annual Homecoming Block Party: Down Home in Downtown DeKalb on Thursday, October 8, from 5–8 p.m.
Businesses with a physical location can also receive a free Huskie Host Starter Kit featuring red and black decorations, including employee buttons, banners, balloons and more, to help bring Homecoming spirit to their business.
