OSF HealthCare is pleased to add a board certified urogynecologist to its staff to better serve the community of Rockford and surrounding areas.The addition of Sonya Ephraim, MD, will ensure increased access for patients in need of urogynecological services at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center Women’s Health Center located at 5666
E. State Street.
Dr. Ephraim specializes in a variety of female pelvic medicine and urogynecology services including but not limited to: Menopause, incontinence, minimally invasive prolapse and more.
Dr. Ephraim received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and her Doctor of Medicine at State University of New York in Buffalo, New York. She completed a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Ephraim also completed a Fellowship at the Institute for Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
