October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM). DVAM is a chance for anyone and everyone to unite in the work to end domestic violence. We invite advocates, loved ones, supporters, and political leaders to join together in solidarity to listen to and uplift survivors directly. With so many people speaking in a unified voice throughout October, we can raise collective awareness about domestic violence to end abuse for good.
You might be asking yourself, how can I get involved? Look no further! Safe Passage has events and fundraisers all October long! Whether you want to honor a survivor, walk for awareness, or just donate to help us continue to provide life-saving services for free, there is something for everyone!
