What if buying a raffle ticket could help feed a senior and take you on your dream getaway?
That’s the idea behind the 2025 Dream Vacation Raffle, hosted by the Voluntary Action Center of Northern Illinois (VAC), with all proceeds supporting the vital Meals on Wheels program. This exciting fundraiser offers three incredible prizes and an even more meaningful purpose: ensuring home-delivered meals continue reaching seniors who depend on them.
Grand Prize: A $3,000 Dream Vacation Gift Certificate, allowing the winner to choose the destination of their dreams, be it a beach escape, mountain retreat, or global adventure.
Second Prize: A two-night stay for two at The Irish Cottage in Galena, IL, plus dinner for two at Bread & Vine, and a private glass-blowing demonstration at Finishing Touches of Galena.
Third Prize: A $200 gift certificate to Bread & Vine in Geneva, IL.
Tickets are $50 each or three for $100 and can be purchased online at www.vacdk.org, calling 815-758-3932, or stopping at our Administrative Offices at 3218 Sycamore Rd, DeKalb.
The drawing will be held at the end of the Annual Tom Zucker Memorial Golf Outing on Monday, September 29, 2025; winners need not be present.

Funds raised will support Meals on Wheels in DeKalb County, where the need for services continues to grow.
